hey there!
I’m happy you’re here and glad I can share a little more about myself.
In 2017, I began working at Business Insider as a video writing intern for our food vertical. If you had asked me then where I’d be five years later, I never would have guessed the incredible adventure that being a digital storyteller would take me on.
I started out making 30-second viral cheese videos for Facebook. That short-form content eventually evolved to producing long-form stories on-location at restaurants across New York. Within a couple of years, I was pitching, producing, and coordinating shoots that would take me to Denmark, Italy, Mexico, and throughout the US.
The thing anyone working in digital video production knows is — it’s constantly changing. And while on paper, that lack of promised routine might be alarming for some, it’s made me adaptable, curious, and all the more motivated to tell stories that resonate and entertain audiences around the world.
As the digital space evolved, so did my role as a storyteller. Toward the end of my time at Insider, I managed a team of producers while pitching and producing my own stories for Insider’s flagship series, So Expensive. From Japanese chef’s knives to sea urchins, Moroccan zellige tiles to gooseneck barnacles, I’ve had the opportunity to produce stories on a wide range of popular products, taking viewers to diverse locations around the world to see what makes the things we buy — to put it the simplest way — so expensive.
Currently, I am the editorial manager for The Hustle YouTube Channel. In this role, I manage our video content strategy for The Hustle franchise, lead our team in developing compelling business and tech original content, and collaborate with our newsletter, podcast, and features teams to expand and grow The Hustle audience across platforms.
